At Truenue, our journey began with something deeply personal: a struggle with our own skin.

Like so many, we—Owen and Geana—spent years trying to manage persistent skin issues. Geana dealt with painful cystic acne. Owen, breakouts and recurring eczema. The search for relief often led us to harsh, one-size-fits-all treatments: oral antibiotics that disrupted gut health, topical creams that left skin raw and reactive.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Truenue was born from that search—a desire to create gentle, effective skincare that restores, rather than disrupts. Inspired by nature, grounded in science, and guided by our own lived experience, we set out to craft formulas that cleanse, calm, and nourish—without compromising the skin’s integrity.
